Updated 2018-2019 Denny’s Super 30 Tournaments Rules
Dead Bass Rule!
All Denny’s Super 30 tournaments will no longer have a penalty for a Dead Bass. The reasons for this change are:
· With our new weigh-in procedure it is hard to see if there are any dead fish in the bag.
· The rule was put into my rules 30 years ago because everyone else was doing it.
· There isn’t any DNR rule requiring a penalty
· No one is killing fish on purpose
· Most of bass that are dead is because they are hooked deep – there is no way to control this.
I do reserve the right to DQ a bag if it is clear that there are fish that are a Stiff – White- Beat-up and look like they have been dead for a long time or where in a cage. I don’t think this will be problem
It is your responsibility to take care on your catch.
Please let us know if you have a dead bass and how many as I do need to have that information for my tournament report to the DNR. Please dispose of dead fish properly.
